Case study: Double-stranded DNA |
|
|
High-resolution AFM images of dsDNA molecules obtained with HRC tips. The top graphs show cross-sections of the images along lines N1 with quasi-periodic modulation along the DNA strands. The mean value of distances between adjacent peaks on cross-sections is 3.4 ± 0.9 nm indicating that these modulations are due to the pitch of the B-form of DNA double helix.
